Do I need to be located in Gainesville?

We're starting in the Gainesville, Florida area and expanding from there. Currently, we're accepting freelancers within approximately 50 miles of Gainesville. If you're in another area, apply anyway - we may be expanding to your market soon.

What kind of training do you offer?

We offer training modules specific to each skill category, covering best practices, client communication, professional standards, and how to deliver excellent work. Some certifications may also be available through our community college partnerships.

How does payment work?

When a client hires you, funds are placed in escrow. Once you complete the work and the client approves it, payment is released to you minus the 8% platform fee. This protects both you and the client.

Can I set my own rates?

Yes! You set your own hourly or project rates. We never dictate what you charge. Local clients typically understand and respect fair market rates.

What if I already have my own clients?

Great! Squadease is meant to supplement your existing business, not replace it. Many of our freelancers use the platform to fill gaps in their schedule or find new client opportunities.
